Indonesia Is Growing Military Muscles!

Indonesia, over the last few years or so, has been slowly building its military hardware for their Navy, Air Force and Army. Photos included here show some of their recent acquisitions. Should we be worried? Indonesia is, currently, on friendly terms with Australia, however, this has not always been the case, and attitudes and relations can change rapidly, while military strength cannot, it takes years to build.

Most Expensive Crash In History!

Last Saturday, 23 of February 2008, the world barely acknowledged the most expensive air crash in the history of aviation. ONE $BILLION ($US) of air accident occurred on Guam, in our neck of the woods. It was a B2 Stealth Bomber, which allegedly dropped as it took off from the US Air base there. This US base has had a lot of activity over the last couple of years.

Apollo 11 Dramas Finally Revealed!!

A new documentary was aired on ABC 1 tonight, entitled "Apollo 11: The Untold Story". It concerned the NASA mission to the Moon. The entire world watched as Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong first walked on the Moon's surface. What none of us knew about at the time, were the real dramas behind the scenes, and kept hidden from public view, until now.

Moon the Buffoon!

Many moons ago (pun intended) I met Keith Moon, drummer from The Who. I had loved Moon from the moment I first saw him, in the early 60's, kick over his drums, while hitting every one of them as they fell. He epitomised everything that was exciting, dangerous and magical about the rock and roll world, he was an incredibly exciting drummer.
