50% of all Aussie Males WILL GET CANCER!!!

June 3rd 2008 09:51
This week, it was revealed that fifty percent of Australian males will contract cancer in their lifetime! How is this possible? Take a look at the picture, that blast was on Aussie soil, in the year of my birth, 1956.
Test 4 22 Oct 1956 Maralinga Sth. Aust. 16 kilotons

In the year of my birth, I lived through the fallout from two major atomic detonations on my country's soil, and many more in the years following.

The Prime Minister of Australia, at the time, was Sir Robert Menzies, who before any testing had started, ordered the scientists overseeing the atomic testing, that no enviromentally negative results would be found!

As a result of that order, any photos released to the public, tracking the course of the radio active clouds, were reversed if the cloud had travelled into populated areas. The official statements released said the radio active clouds were heading safely inland, where no one lived, (except for the Aboriginals of course!).

Instead, the heavy nuclear fallout descended across Adelaide and covered all the countryside between the test site at Maralinga, to the city and coastline of South Australia. One of the men hired to measure the fallout, who was based in the centre of the city of Adelaide, found that the "click" rate (device used to measure radio active airborne particles) was 30,000 per minute at one stage. This is a massive reading. His results were suppressed and only came to light about six years ago, through research done by an Australian, under the FOI rule, after its secrecy clause had elapsed.

The nuclear fallout event occurred multiple times throughout South Australia, and also included fallout travelling across the State of Victoria and into its capital city, Melbourne.
Operation Mosaic June 19 1956 Montebello Islands Australia

The ensuing years were littered with major nuclear airborn detonations on Australian soil, its surrounding islands, and further afield. Tests on our soil were conducted by Britain, we were merely allowed to look on. By default, Australians as a nation, were also their 'guinea pigs!' While this was happening, America also had a massive atomic bomb programme running in our 'backyard', and was busily detonating at several sites on and near South Pacific islands in our area. I will post further on this, at a later date.
Operation Grapple Nov 8 1957 Christmas Is.

After this, huge programme of aerial nuclear detonations, an international moratorium was agreed upon, and all future detonations were carried out underground, to limit the amount of radio active fallout. Many of these tests involved underwater detonation. The French, later on, joined the mellee of myriad nuclear detonations, on Muroroa Atoll.
Op. Grapple Sept. 11 1958 Christmas Is.

Basically, nearly the entire land mass of continental Australia and surrounding islands, have been contaminated with nuclear fallout, to varying degrees; from areas that are still too 'hot' for anyone to venture near, to where we all live and play today, the cities! Christmas Island, now called Kiribati, with its neighbours Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, Marshall Islands etc, all suffered major fallout.

Now ask yourself this, why does Australia have a larger than average incidence of unusual diseases and cancers per head of population, compared with the rest of the world?

Here is a very good reason....

The following is an extract from the site "Janes Oceania" (origin of data uncredited)

QUOTE:
Both the USA and USSR had, by this time, developed and tested their own hydrogen weapons and were working towards an international 'moratorium' on atmospheric testing. The British Government could not opt out of the super powers' diplomacy, but at the same time they saw the testing of an H bomb as an international demonstration of power that would restore lost prestige.

British scientists, therefore, had to work faster and with fewer resources than their American and Soviet counterparts. It is a sign of their tremendous commitment that they succeeded; but the speed with which they worked, both at Christmas Island and on the Australian mainland, led to decisions which today are regarded as having been dangerous and even foolhardy.

No Royal Commission has explored the safety, or lack of it, of the H Bomb tests; yet the same - if not greater - fears exist about these tests. With no Commission there has been no release of documents about the hydrogen bomb trials but the available evidence points to a continuation of the questionable procedures that had been adopted in the Australian tests.

QUOTE:

Dr. Jim Green, national co-ordinator of the Beyond Nuclear Initiative, said: "Almost the entire Australian continent was dusted with radioactive fallout from the British bomb tests, and millions of Australians received small radiation doses.”

“The legacy of environmental contamination remains to this day. The impacts on Indigenous communities were severe, including radioactive contamination and forced relocation to missions." (Personal testimonies of the Kupa Piti Kungka Tjuta at <www.iratiwanti.org>.)

Neuro Blastoma FTW.

I really don't have to worry about this all; I am the 50%. With a previous 40% chance of survival...

Great work. It was all kept so secret. Rebel journalist Wilfred Burchett was the first to report that there was radiation from the Hiroshima bomb after he visited the site a short time after detonation. He was ridiculed in the New York Times and the London Times ... for a while. Bill

This is a worry. One of my good friends, a fellow blogger here, has a brother with cancer and I think he was born in either 56 or 57. Not sure where he was born but it was definitely in australia. I'll point out this post to her.

Are there similar statistics for women here?

whoa - bad news brown.

Still, maybe there's a chance that your momma ducked the radiation? Matrix-style?

Jay-sus, I had no idea. This is really scary; I thought they only did a few tests in central Australia then abandoned it. But then, I'm only 25 so I don't remember.

It's be interesting to see if your prediction comes true fog, there's enough evidence to suggest it will. Glad I'm female!

A salient piece my friend.

While it's a little long winded - the following

Really Long Link

is worth taking a look at with regards to the Maralinga testing.

Hi Bill,

yes the cover up has been massive and extensive, with the media willingly playing along, something people need to consider, when they doubt the validity of conspiracies within governments of today.

I will post some more soon, from eye witness accounts describing what it was like, (servicemen) to watch the detonations on Christmas Island, and what happened immediately afterwards, it makes scary reading!

Hi Johnny,

I have to carefully check the article, regarding women, but, Australia has extraordinarily high rates of diseases for such a small population, (just over 20 million).

If anyone was born in Australia between the early 1950's through to the end of testing, sometime in the early 70's (French..not sure), that means you have been exposed to nuclear fallout, many times over.

By the way, our American friends need to be concerned too, for there was an awful lot of testing around Hawaii, and in Nevada and New Mexico.

However, having said all that, I must point out, the needed proof, documentation etc, is a long way off, and may never be attained.

Where is Erin Brockovich when you need her?

I will do an update psost soon.

Cibby,

I have not included a lot of data in my article because usually no one can be bothered reading it if it is too long, however, I can say this, the researcher employed to notate effects of the fallout in South Australia, noted Strontium 90(?) in the milk and in lamb's meat....that gives you an idea of how the heavy contamination was in Adelaide!!

I was bottle fed too....not breast fed!!
I have other data I am going to post about it all soon.

Hi Journeywoman,

the number of tests in total, between the British and the Americans, I fear is way over 100.

We may never find out how many, as not all tests have been publicly acknowledged.

As for predictions, as to its afffect on Australia and all the other nations, including New Zealand, we can only discover that, if the governemnts collectivley investigate it all through a Royal Commission.

Not many people are interested in this idea, however, but, we can but try!

Hi MNG,

I knew Justice McClelland quite well, (he headed the Maralinga Inquiry) and I was friends of his family since the Whitlam years. Also, my father was an exploration geologist, who geologically mapped a huge area of inland Oz, and included studies around Maralinga. So I am well acquainted with the investigations and whatnot.

However, what has been purposely avoided and ignored, is the effect all this terrible nuclear fallout has had on the populations in our area of the Southern Hemisphere.

No actual study has been done, nor requested!

I want to see if we can't get our current government to look at this area, a political hot potato I know, for it will involve the bad practises, and indifferences to biological adverse affects, as perpetrated by the USA and Britain, and the pathetic acquiesence of the Australian government at the time, which will be all called into question.

The official statements released said the radio active clouds were heading safely inland, where no one lived, (except for the Aboriginals of course!).

Come now fog, you should know that in 1956 Aboriginals were still classified as 'fauna', so technically...

This is spine-tingling stuff, but not surprising really.

Happy B'day fog and Brenton, kudos to you for kicking the big C's backside.

Hi Ruby,

well, regarding the poor hapless Aboriginal communities affected by fallout...I was being facetious, of course! We had the White Australia Policy, and it wasn't until 1967 I think that a referendum voted for Aboriginals to be included under our laws and with (technically) our legal rights....well...it looked good on paper I guess...!!

Yes, it is a HUGE worry, New Zealand would have copped a fair does of fallout too, I imagine, from the north, where the Kiribati tests etc were carried out, and from Oz.

I admit the levels would be greatly reduced compare to where I grew up, but, no one really has bothered to study the long term low level affect of fallout, unless they are doing so, but not telling us!

That would not surprise me at all.

Anyhoo, I need to gather more info, and whatnot, then contemplate what angle to wrok on regardi9ng having the matter looked at.

Wow, I didn't know about all this. I vaguely recall that atomic testing had been done on our soil (few years before my birth), but certainly had no idea of the extent of it.

Scary stuff!

Hi KW,
you have no diea of the extent of it, and the lack of care for the well being of Australians!

I was going to post another article on it today, but after amassing all the data, I got so depressed I couldn't bring myself to post it...

I hope maybe Sunday, when I have some time, I will summon enough anger, and/or sarcasm to do it!!

cheers
