just to let you know, my friend Dimitri passed away peacefully last night at 7-30pm, in the presence of some friends.

I really appreciate you all posting your kind thoughts.

Yes, he is at rest, well his body is, now his soul is getting re-acquainted with his passed love ones and deciding what to do next, or maybe that will be decided for him, I am not sure.

Maybe his time here is over and he will not be coming back.

However, it has given me renewed interest in 're-awakening', so, maybe it has all been a path to this point, a place I have run away from numerous times in the past, but now, maybe I am ready...maybe...

very much appreciated, and yes, now is the time to concentrate on his story. A lot of research and whatnot, he managed some fancy restaurants in his time, and also worked in the big holiday places in Bali. He gave me his story of a girl he loved, but I need to find out more, as it is only a few observations.

Anyhoo....feeling flat...watched the moon go rusty in a perfectly clear sky, which was one nice way to mark his passing.

and I love the idea of big bear hugs...great fan of giving and receiving them myself!

I am feeling better after talking to our mutual friend, and even though the family have decided to take his body back to Melbourne, (and no invitation to attend...) I am ok with that too, as it is my personal relationship with Dimitri that matters, not what the living do...which in my long experience of death, seems to always end up not respecting the dying one's wishes!
