HOWARD PLAYS RACIST CARD AGAIN

Oh yes he has! Think about it...IF everyone votes to include the Aboriginal community, then they can be in "our" constitution!! Shouldn't we be asking THEM if they want to be in a constitution? WHY does it require a referendum to ask the massive majority of white Australians if they will deign to allow Aborigines a place in their own country's constitution? Why doesn't the government just say, OOPS! Forgot to include you...so here you are...oh that's right...the LIBERAL PARTY REFUSES TO APOLOGISE!!!
It galls me that this political monstrosity is allowed to get away with his latest thinly disguised 'dog whistling' bigotry, totally unchallenged, YET AGAIN, by the main stream media!
He did it at the Cronulla "riots", and he has done it in regards to Arab States, Lebanon and the local Lebanese community and the Aboriginal community themselves, and he has guided the refugee policy into a defacto White Australia Policy, something this nation USED to be ashamed ever to be a part of!!!!...and the list goes on!
And yet the media has the unmitigated gall to let this slip by, while presenting it as if Labor hadn't thought about this area of community and even if it had, they wouldn't be able to arrange it!!

Labor was the first to recognize Aboriginal rights to their lands...remember Mabo?
Labor was the party that first said we should and must apologize for the 200 hundred years of war, murder, abuse and neglect!
Even if Britain does nothing to apologise, (WHICH IT DAMNED WELL SHOULD!!) and frankly don't hold your breath, our country, Australia, since Federation, has done enough to warrant being classed as a defacto apartheid racist country, that has systematically turned a blind eye to what has been going on, and in many cases are implicated directly, in the social devastation of the Aboriginal community.
And where are we now in relations with the Aboriginal community? Oh, that's right, after ten years of government non-action to protect the vulnerable, SUDDENLY, at the election that is going to oust these moral pygmies, these whores of American Foreign Policy and the needs of trans-national companies, he is trying to fool us he cares about the Aboriginals! Of course, to care about them, he has to change the rights to their lands...so it is expected, as a result, that mining will go ahead irrespective of objection!!
Howard doesn't give a toss about Aboriginies, just the land they stand on, because big business wants it!
Howard doesn't care about poor and struggling members of society, or about those most vulnerable on welfare, he just wants everyone to shut the f**k up and get into a factory, and work your arse off every day of the year if asked.
This man is technically a war criminal. Iraq could, and should, take Howard to the Hague and have him tried for war crimes!
The war on Iraq was an illegal waras originally classified by the U.N.,, and the abuse of human rights there, plus his tacit support of torture, is an abomination and has dragged the good name of our once highly regarded country into the dirt!
And what about torture?
Our own Federal Attorney General, Ruddick, says the "water torture" is persuasion, NOT TORTURE!!!
Pardon me, but if you ask the Chinese, they will beg to differ. And if you ask those tortured....(what is the water torture? It is having a person tied down on their back on a plank, their face has a cloth tied tightly around it covering it completely, then water is poured from a height onto your face, the effect is like drowning, only you do not drown...and they do it for hours!!
NOT TORTURE MR. RUDDICK???

What about Howard promising to never bring in GST? That benefitted the business owners and the big companies ONLY! The poor then got screwed financially at the check-out counter!
Then there is the children overboard lies!!
The AWA wheat scandal, that has been buried totally!!
The list goes on folks.
However, what we MUST demand of Rudd et al, is that they develop a stand-point, and grow some friggin BACK BONE!!!....and start standing for something, instead of agreeing with this demonstrative sociopath Howard on every turn of an issue!
I do NOT agree with the death penalty in any form, for WHATEVER reason....so did the Labor Party...oh..and the Liberals too... you cannot on one side say, no it is inhumane in Oz, then say it is ok in Indonesia...that is bullshit!
The fact is, many members of the familes affected by that attrocity do not support the death penalty, and yet many do!
So what? That is their business!
WE as a nation of people have to take a moral stand somewhere. In countries that have the death penalty, it has NEVER acted as a deterrant to those who commit crimes that warrant execution by their laws! It only sates a blood lust, and sometimes they get the wrong guy!
We need to grow up...and start demanding that the media start reporting in a proper and balanced manner, instead of behaving as a mouthpiece and PR device for the Liberal party, and this unrestrained support, in television and print, is only because the reporters are told to support (by careful inference) whomever best serves their owners' selfish economic interests...and the whole truth be damned!!
I can only hope enough people out there will see the lies and the manipulation for what they are, and vote accordingly!

P.S. And no, I am not necessarily going to vote Labor. I will vote for whomever takes a proper moral stand, and starts standing up to the economic bullying by multi-nationals and starts representing our country's interests FIRST! And that is NOT achieved by selling off every public utility you can get your damned hands on!!
P.P.S. To my American pals, please, this is not an attack on you, or your country per se...the trans-national companies I refer to, and current American/British/Australian foreign policies, are screwing your lives just like they do everyone elses!
