Whose Extravagant Mansion Is This? Take a guess!!
July 15th 2008 16:01
The following photos depict an extraordinarily ornate mansion, in fact, it is ludicrously over the top, to the point of absurdity. But whose lavish mansion is it? Is it a rock star's pad? Is it the residence of a giant of industry? Only a billionaire could afford such a sprawling and overly ornate house, surely? Tell me who do you think lives there? I will tell you who it is, at the end of this post.
No champion at all actually; no great talent, no genius, no modern day Shakespeare, no giant of commerce, just a common ordinary criminal, a low life psychopath, a sadist without equal, a robber of humanitarian aid, an embezzler of private and government funds, a sickening pariah of his society...
it is none other than...
The extent of this grotesque monster's lack of taste is only excelled by his moral depravity.
While his own people starve to death, are beaten and murdered, while the Zimbabwe dollar plummets to worthlessness, a loaf of bread costs about two million Zimbabwe dollars, this loathsome creature slithers around his 'palace', enjoying the life of a despotic dictator.
Mugabe needs to go, one way or the other!

If I put a ducky in the pool for him, he'd get a huge bang out of it . . . a seriously huge bang.

A friend had emailed me a couple of these shots (but not all) and posed the same question.
My response would be exactly the same . . . given I have a close association with one of the 'lucky' Zimbabwians - whose family now reside here . . . but one I choose not to put into print for fear of any kiddies who may read it.
Mongrel.
Stay well my friend

glad to hear it! What about sending that suggestion along to the US NAvy Seals, or any other Commando unit?
It may give them a laugh, then again, it might give them a good idea!
My personal idea would be, a big lavish ceremony, to honour Zimbabwe's freedom form the 'tyranny' of colonial rule, which Mugabe helped achieve, and Mugabe is honoured with a lovely big solid gold ornate and gaudy statuette.....filled with something he will really get a 'kick' out of!!!

hehe... no pool, but, do 'we' have a similar desire to rule despotically?
Hopefully, you would have FAR better taste than that grotesque morally repulsive monster!
But, what is with the chairs on the internal balconies, overlooking an empty space...? Does he sit soldiers there, in front of all the windows, in case someone outside tries to take a shot at him?
I also noticed an animal hide cushion, on a bedroom gilt (guilt?) chair, which in turn is slightly taller and more ornate than the other chair, the lesser chair obviously for his wife!

it is disgraceful! Lets hope an earthquake hits them, and while he is sleazing under the velvet covers of his dreadful bed, the ludicrous and vile bedhead collapses on top of him!

But I am disgusted by people threatening to set up an explosive in this house - no human behaviour justifies threats of violence (unless it's in self-defense and there's no other option).

however, some people will not stop torturing and terrifying innocent people, until they are in the grave!
Put it this way, had you been able to plant a bomb that would have killed Hitler, would you have done so, saving millions of lives and stopping the building of the beastly concentration camps?
In that circumstance, even I would have gladly volunteered to take that vile abomination out of existence!
I do not like hate crimes!
I do not agree with vigilantism!
However, when I see a military and/or political leader intent on destroying lives and enriching him or herself, then I want those who stand for real freedom and justice, to do something about that monster, instead of pretending to do something to save the suffering, such as waxing lyrical about how much they care, and how much they want to help!
The people in the midst of the nightmare hate us for not doing something to stop those that oppress them.
They do not understand why, when we claim to stand for democracy and for what is just and right, yet we watch as the inevitable happens, time and again, the weak and oppressed just suffer, while we in the rich Western nations have another bitch session about it, as we tuck into another latte and another nice meal, which achieves nothing, save for temporarily quelling our disturbed conscience!
Objecting to something is one thing, but achieving a just result often requires actions that we, who are basically pacifist, must endure to attain a just result for the oppressed.
Any other way merely plays into the monsters' hands, and they laugh with glee at our impotent objections, as they continue to help themselves to the aid money and goods sent in good faith.
I don't just want to say, "Damn Mugabe!", I want to see him sent there, as do all the poor Zimbabwe people being tortured, maimed, starved an killed, as I type this response to you, right now!

No, I wouldn't have - that's murder. I don't know why the West and the rest of the world (Africa in particular) hasn't found a way to strip Mugabe of his position of power, take away all of his assets and send him to jail, but that's the only just option.

However, as regards Mugabe, well, it would be nice to think we could wrest him from power, by means of sanctions and whatnot, however, this has not worked against other despots, who merely made life tougher for the populace, and still lived in luxury and security themselves, while the sanctions actually made conditions for the suffering people much, much worse!
Psychopaths only know one rule and be assured, that is what Mugabe is!
When a people cries out for someone to save them, as the people of Zimbabwe have been doing for a long time now, then I see it as a moral responsibility that we act in some way to directly get rid of this monster, and if that means capturing him and putting him on trial, I much prefer that, however, these loathsome psychopaths always make that almost impossible to achieve.

yes it is a great quote, and too right about Mandela!! He is about to, or just has, celebrate his birthday in London, with stars from all over the world, at a fund raising concert, one wonders how of all people on Earth, this man could keep silent on the issue of this maniac Mugabe?

I expected Mandela to speak out about Mugabe and the situation in Sudan in the London concert, because these are important issues that undermine human rights in Africa. I see any case of injustice in the world as 'my problem', and I am disappointed that Mandela didn't take the opportnity to spread awareness about how neglected these situations have been, for how long. He didn't have to do much: Just call them to the West's attention, and urge greater intervention on its behalf. He is a very respected public figure and if he had said something a lot of people would have stood up and taken note.

of course, that is your absolute and inalienable right, to be strictly pacifist, but, if one was totally so, would one defend oneself?
However, I say, it is easy for us to armchair debate this, from the safety of Australia and America etc, but, put yourself in Zimbabwe, standing there watching Mugabe's thugs slaughter and terrorise men, women and children, he doesn't care what his thugs do or who they do it to, then ask yourself, would you still just say, sorry, but I am a committed pacifist, if you had to live there, seeing the slaughter every day, the torture?
In all conscience, I could not.
One instance recently, they left the baby alive, he was found standing next to his mother in their modest home's hallway, she had been disemboweled, her arms broken, and I think she was pregnant. What if this happened to your nice next door neighbour?
Maybe I have more of my father in me than I would have thought possible, we did not agree on many things, however, had people like my father not fought the vile Nazi regime and the despicable Japanese forces, then the world today would have been a different place, it would look something like this;
1: no Jews ever existed.
2: all homosexuals are put to death immediately upon public recognition.
3: most pious Christians are dead.
4: no religion allowed other than worship of the Germanic Fatherland, and the Japanese Emperor's official religion.
5: The world has only two countries; Greater Germany and Greater Japan.
6: Australia is a two class system, the Japanese upper class, and the 'other races' who servants and slaves (non-Japanese decendants of those left after invasion.)
7: All dark skinned races have been either put to death, or are being worked to death.
I could go on, but, I hope you get the point.
It is just too easy for people to choose not to support the removal of a vile despot, from the safety of their own country.
How many of those same people if in harms way, would still remain silent and pacifist?
How many would just ignore what was happening to their friends and neighbours?
Would you vote for Mugabe, or refuse to, and take a beating, torture, then murder?
I doubt many would not scream for help, any kind of help, including the assassination of the merciless monster destroying the fabric of their society.
Put it this way, how can we defend the notion that we have a good moral outlook, if we sit back and accept wholesale slaughter?
That we have not taken a stand before now, same with many other nations, is shameful.
Did you know, Indonesia has slaughtered approximately 250,000 West Papuans, since the Indons invaded their country, which they now call Irian Jaya?
Sometimes, we need to take a stand. Not to do so, in these extreme situations, means we change the meaning of the phrase, we respect human rights, as we are only applying it to our own backyard, and not for everyone.

his voice was respected because of the outrageous treatment he received from the SA government, because he stood for the removal of apartheid and the suppression and murder of the blacks and "coloured" races. (Any Indian, or mixed race, was identifies as coloured in SA, a South Africa friend of mine had to have a special internal passport declaring his racial status!).
Mandela, being such a famous moral crusader, one would have thought he could not easily stand silent as their immediate neighbour, Zimbabwe, turned into a ruthless and murderous regime, its leaders filling their own pockets with public and aid money.
Then again, he would have had to criticise many leaders of African nations, so maybe Mbeki told him to keep his mouth shut?
