Myanmar Monsters!
May 12th 2008 08:02
I asked yesterday, "should we bomb Burma's military first?", obviously no one bothered to read beyond the title, so I reiterate now, the military junta in Myanmar are holding back nearly all the relief food etc, from the suffering. I think they see it as an opportunity to rid the country of a lot of problems, like the poor!
I think they intend to try and sell most of the goods, and keep most of the money for themselves and their supporters.
I think the Myanmar military junta are low life scum and deserve to be dealt with in the same manner which they have treated their country's own poor monks and tens of thousands of others, who dared protest about freedom and democracy.
If we are to stand on a high horse, in respect to actions in Iraq and Afghanistan for example, then we need to deal with these Myanmar junta monsters as quickly as possible.
Not to do so will absolutely ensure there is far more suffering and deaths to come.

Notice diddly has been said about Daw Aung San Suu Kyi recently. Politicians give her awards, mention her when it suits them and then politicians forget about her when they should be thinking of her the most.
It's sickening.

thanks for caring enough to comment!
I too have worried about Aung San Suu Kyi, but was told by an Orbler she was ok, but have not read anything to suggest that indepandant Un or whatever people have had contact with her.
My provocative title to this post did nto elicit a response from Orblers, pity, for it was emant not as some red enck reaction, but to get people to start questioning our own motives and ethethics, as for the moment, more information comes out every day that proves the military junta in Myanmar is hording the goods, and not helping the destitute poor most affected by the storm.
Lets hope the junta claen up their act, or we as the UN invade and remove them, for they are committing a small scale form of socio-political genocide of their own people I suspect, as pay back for the demonstrations against the regime recently led by the Buddhist monks.
cheers and yes, sadly, if it has oil, everyone would have jumped on the junta I suspect!!
