Infognito - infognito.net

WOTZZZ UP ORBLE???

January 21st 2010 07:10
So, both my screentrek.com site and infognito.net are registering zero again, for the last two days... Okay, maybe that is accurate, but, too many others have complained before, when they know they got lots of traffic, yet Orble reports ZERO!!!!!!!!!!

This happened to me when I posted about the death of my Stella and yet Orble said I got zero, that was utter crap, as I had a big response to my post.

Regarding the Stats zero problems affecting numerous sites on Orble, I posted about it on infognito.net, even allowing Orble a chance to correct their 'oversight', but no, nothing happened... You can read my article following:
LINK Orble Stats Problems

Then, I posted on the Writer's Forum, about the Google Adsense apology sent to my email address, which must ahve gone to everyone, but questions posted on the Writer's Forum are now vetted before they appear, so my article on Google and its new arrangement was refused publication on the forum without explanation or apology.
LINK Google Adsense Apology

So, WHY IS ORBLE IGNORING EVERYONE'S QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DODGY ADSENSE REPORTING?

HOW DO WE CHECK THAT EVERYTHING IS HONEST AND ABOVE BOARD?

I wonder whether this plea will be ignored too?

If there is something wrong with the reporting of stats for adsense on Orble, then management is either purposely ignoring the problem, or it is stupendous incompetence. Somehow, I don't think it is incompetence, so why the silence?

Why the continuing problems?

Fog, I think you have to run with all of Orble's figures being inaccurate. Those two that registered zeros were wrong. I visited them. Recently though I attempted to leave a comment and was told I needed more confirmations.

Sometime ago I visited several sites that looked good but found nothing had been posted for months.

I got a response from Orble over the Xmas period when I was posting lots and lost my stats.

They have been gradually upgrading all their servers and some of us are on one or two or three of the servers.

Hence occasional outages of stats depending on the server. I lost one got it back then lost the other sites one at a time. It should only be temporary.

Fog - salutations

I concur with Jason's comments - having read another post recently along similar lines.

Mind you - I've been trying to get a response about a couple of matters tied directly to the site over the past month - and the silence is deafening . . .

Perhaps I need to post about that in order to get some movement.

May good health and good fortune find you in 2010

Cheers

Orble's figures are a bit like China's figures on their financial good times: they're bullshit.

HAHA! Bill, the last comment was funny!

So, you tried to leave a comment on my blog but couldn't due to "confirmation"...now THAT is really bizarre...
as I have the site set so anyone may comment.

Thanks for leaving your views on the matter Bill.

Hi Jason, thanks for letting me know your experiences, what I wonder about is, if our blogs get zero, particularly when high traffic is evident, via comments, then who gets the adsense money....???? My guess is, it isn't us!

Hi MNG! Long time no chat!

I sent you a reply, to your kind email to me, did you get it? I had sad news about my beloved Stella.

Anyhoo, one is left to wonder, as I stated to Jason above, whether stats are being manipulated...we will never know I expect.

cheers to all and thanks for caring enough to comment.

I felt the "confirmations" were Orble not wanting me to comment. Or is that too paranoid?

I don't think the stats of our sites would be related to Adsense at all.
I am pretty sure that Google would have some kind of electronic counter for each of their ads as to this one was clicked on this site etc. And this would be our revune. I think it is 10c a click we earn isn't it? Hence - you click on your own ads multiple times and you get forfeited.
I never thought they would be tied in to the amount of people who actually visit our individual sites.

I could be wrong but this is just what I would think.

Hi Bill,

I'm not sure whether you are being too paranoid, but, I have to write to admin several times, before they deign to answer, and am totally ignored, on Writer;s Forum, and if I post about Orble, it quickly gets removed if it appears on the popular posts list, this last tactic has happened many times, and admin says it will not allow "outsiders" to read Orble criticisms, but this means only people on your notificaion of posting hear about it, and even that has been 'suspended' for my blog many times...as I was told by regualr readers who were not notified of my postings...

so...I'd keep an open mind I guess.

cheers

Hi Jason,

I'm sure you're right, but, when my blog is so underperforming, (adsense wise) no matter the numbers, and I see the really low returns, then adsense lifts the payout line to $150- without warning, I begin to wonder.

Anyhoo, tanx for taking the time and for your interest.

cheers
