four o'clock
October 14th 2009 05:10
four o'clock crawls,
nearer to strike,
a quiet knell within,
memories now only,
of soft foot-falls.
claws tapping tiles,
my pug's personal,
arrhythmic carillon,
peal to appeal,
for dinner call.
a hollow echo,
the distance per day,
further away,
yet never to be,
forgotten.
nearer to strike,
a quiet knell within,
memories now only,
of soft foot-falls.
claws tapping tiles,
my pug's personal,
arrhythmic carillon,
peal to appeal,
for dinner call.
a hollow echo,
the distance per day,
further away,
yet never to be,
forgotten.

bit better today, on the whole, but first chance meeting with a neighbour out front and that was difficult.

it's okay, I know what you mean. Slowly I am getting some sort of balance again, I've been fairly devastated, but, I know in time I will, I hope I will, remember without the regret.
