From Ignorance To Love
July 8th 2008 09:59
The following poem is my attempt to follow the course of human nature. Unlike the usual vicious wheel of life, that the human race has steadfastly followed for centuries, I lead the progression to an ending of enlightenment, as a way to counter balance the vicissitudes of our daily lives and in some small way show there is hope, if we open our minds and our hearts.
It is my prayer that, the wheel of ignorance and hatred is broken, the people of the world come to realize, all our world needs to ensure safety and protection, spiritual growth and enlightenment, is unconditional love.
Shambhala (Tib. bde 'byung) is a Sanskrit term meaning "place of peace/tranquility/happiness" Meditate upon the Kalachakra thanga to find it within.
Ignorance breeds suspicion,
Suspicion breeds fear,
Fear breeds bigotry,
Bigotry breeds hatred,
Hatred breeds violence,
Violence breeds suffering,
Suffering breeds compassion,
Compassion breeds healing,
Healing breeds respect,
Respect breeds trust,
Trust breeds understanding,
Understanding breeds acceptance,
Acceptance breeds forgiveness,
Forgiveness breeds love.
Love is strength!

QUOTE ME NO QUOTES!
I really appreciate it.
I wrote this seven years ago, can't believe it really, took me awhile to find it again, in the depths of an old folder; time flies, and how depressing to look at the world today, considering I was pondering upon the spiritual state of mankind at the time I wrote it, the human race continues to refuse to learn by its mistakes..

yeah, it was snowing in Orange and Oberon this week, last couple of days, nearly did here, but the wind took the cloud away, but some is falling now.
Last year, it snowed like crazy, we got about three inches over night, which would sound silly to snow laden countries, but, this is Australia!!
Love snow! Last year was my first time to be snowed upon, touch it and play with it! I never thought I would see snow, so I was thrilled to have achieved that small wish.
cheers
