Think Ink!
June 29th 2008 14:23
My head sinks;
crisp cold kiss,
of pillow starched,
linen lined eye lids,
meet slowly to swell,
as mind swims lazily,
from dock of day,
to moor of night,
within waves of thought,
fantasies embellished,
with think ink.

I like this... I like it a lot. Daydreamy, early morning, late evening fuzzy minded thought ... which is the best of all! I particularly like this...
from dock of day,
to moor of night,
Great work!

And TANX!!
MIGHTILY obliged!!
You are the only one who bothered to comment...sigh.. a poet's life is a solitary and mostly unrewarded one..
well... tough! hehe!!
cheers and I have started on tow different 'episodes' of The Shoe, to post on your site, about the shoe in the photo, so I am working on it.. but now can't decide between writing the thriller killer one, or a goofy oddball humorous one..

Yes, the poets life is a solitary one... perhaps that`s where poets get their inspiration from!
Hope you are having a good evening xxx

oh.... now I must write two endings.. well why not? Actually, I am thinking of turning it into a short novel, novelette I guess, and what I was thinking would create two distincly different stories..
Anyhoo... I can do the shortened version for your blog, good practise..

thanks so much for the compliment!
I have written a lot of poetry, in fits and starts, over the last 14 years. Before then, nothing! I started writing it as a way to try and regain some internal mental and spiritual ground, so lucky for me, it was not ego based, like some poetry is, using dense imagery and complex ideas, even arcane language, I hate that sort, I see it as snobbish intellectually, and too contrived to be full of emotion,
I write observational work now, of nature and whatnot, and also the deeper felt emotional stuff, which is where I am basically, I write for me, as a way to exorcise negative energy, and every now and then, enjoin the thrall of life.
cheers

OH! And Epiphanie, if you want to read the poetry I have been posting on Orble the last year, just go to "Lyrical Mist", in my subcategories, and all will be revealed!! hehe!
