Princess Diana, JFK and Big Business

(The following has been drawn from publicly available sources in print and television. While I am personally convinced of the veracity of many of the witnesses referred to in the paragraphs below, I have to admit it remains, until proven in court, a mystery and a theory, regarding events surrounding Diana's death.)
Yes, Diana's death was a shock. A big shock...for most of us!
Maybe, in a way, it was inevitable that something terrible was eventually going to happen.
It would seem there were many forces at work to bring about her downfall, feeding the press with salacious tidbits, stirring a frenzy in the piranha press to chase her here, chase her there.
Yet Diana herself opened the door to this nonsense, did she not? For, not only did Diana harpoon the hypocrisy of her marriage in the most public of ways, in a personal television interview, by doing this, she also opened the whole Royal family up to a more intense scrutiny. Yet some, to this day, still escape similar exposure....creating potential heirs, where there should not be.
Luckily, in the Royal world, bastards have no claim in ascendancy to the throne.
I still wonder about Diana's death, particularly after seeing a doco many years ago which centred on the events of the night and a key French witness who was bullied by an inspector of police, told to go away, when he tried to make a statement the night of the car crash.
Yes, he was there at the time. He said, just before he heard the collision, there was a blinding flash coming out of the tunnel. The only thing that resembled it, he later found out by way of a blind test they set up for him (he had his back to the various types of camera flash guns they tested), was an anti-personnel magnesium flash gun, used by the military to cause temporary blindness, and available readily in disposal stores throughout Europe. What makes this fact especially relevant today is, they have recently proved beyond doubt that the papparazi were trailing way behind Dodi and Diana's car, and only caught up after the collision.
However, having said that, other evidence came forth a few years ago, after this doco was made, which would explain the flash. At the time, people asked the government to release the speed camera photo of the car entering the tunnel, (mounted above the road at the mouth of the tunnel).
The French government denied it was working, however, much later a man who then disputed his own speed photo fine, taken the same night, received the photo proof in the mail. This somehow came to the attention of the press. The government then admitted it had made a mistake and released the photo, which I have seen.
The speed photo shows a terrified Henri Paul gripping the wheel, an equally concerned body guard looking at the steering wheel, (who survived but apparently can't remember anything), and you can also see Dodi and Diana in the back laughing their heads off, a second later was impact!
In addition, other witnesses on the night have said they heard the Merc over-revving, the engine screaming so loud, they looked to see what was wrong with it, not to see a speedster. If any of you know Mercedes limousines you would know, even at full throttle, they do not "scream", they are more likely to 'swish'!
Authorities stated, at the time, the Mercedes' speedo was frozen at the speed it crashed at, a very high speed. Yet Mercedes, the company, came out and challenged this statement, stating their speedos always return to zero when the car stops, even in collision. The French authorities then withdrew their statement.
The coverage of Diana's life has reached a new height of economic gluttony recently, with the Princes' desire to promote her trust and tenth anniversary, which is entirely understandable from their point of view. Yet the same people/newspapers who attacked Diana when she was alive, now pander to the public by playing up the victim, the land mine saint, the rejected "Queen of Hearts", a moniker she gave herself and handed to the public, a clever piece of self promotion designed to attain sympathy and affection with the public and indulge an insatiable press.
However, she really was the original victim, in her marriage. The royals refer to extra-marital affairs as "getting a bit of totty", odd that, so depersonalized, which in itself says a lot.
However, on the events of Diana's life, my personal theory is, shady forces turned against Diana, when she started the campaign to ban land mines. Diana was having a huge impact in this area and too many countries still make a lot of money out of these dreadful devices. This is pure speculation, of course, but it seems a more logical explanation than anything else I have heard.
I don't think it was really about Dodi, although recently, a French jeweller came out to say he was told by his lawyers, when he asked their advice, to keep his mouth firmly shut while the inquest was on in France. What he had to say was, yes, Dodi had ordered an engagement ring and was to collect it about that time. Ok, Dodi can ask her to marry, she would have said no, but, it is another interesting twist in this tale is it not? For this was always vehemently denied by 'Royal sources'.
More importantly is the fact that the driver, Henri Paul, had a high level of carbon monoxide in his blood. So what you ask? Well, no one else in the car did, so how come he had this in his blood and how did it get there? And one other point about this, the amount of carbon monoxide was potentially enough to render you unconscious, maybe dead depending on the condition/situation of the person involved.
The forensic scientist who looked at this aspect, (an outsider not the coroner), stated that it can be fairly accurately calculated how much carbon monoxide was in the blood at the time of death, by a forensically accepted decreasing scale every half hour, and since they knew when he died, it was easy to estimate the level of carbon monoxide in his blood at the time of death.
I must note here, the government coroner did notate the level of carbon monoxide in his blood but, curiously, made no comment about it being a factor, and it seems no study was done to calculate the amount at the time of death, it was left calculated at the time of autopsy. This means the level was low, as we know it reduces by so much every 30 minutes. Had the calculation been done for the amount of carbon monoxide at the time of death, a different story would have been discovered. Much else was criticised in the handling of the forensic side, in Europe, but not paid attention to elsewhere.
According to this forensic scientist, with the calculated level of carbon monoxide in Henri Paul's blood, it would have been physically impossible for Henri Paul to drive, let alone stand up and converse, or tie his shoelaces balancing on the balls of his feet, deftly swapping from one foot to the other, as was seen in the security video in the hotel, just before they left, for the 'tunnel of death'.
Also, as far as I know, the family of Henri Paul are still being denied their request for the other sample of Henri Paul's blood to be released to them, so they can check the DNA. It has been noted that it is highly unusual for such a request to be denied.
Henri Paul's friend had stated that Paul had only drank diet coke for some months, knowing he had to stay off the booze, and that his well stocked bar at home was for guests only. Also, he knew Henri Paul was well aware that his job would be immediately lost, had he dared to show up drunk at work, and especially when he was to be Dodi's chauffeur, let alone transport Diana herself. He also knew he had to stay sober at all times whenever Dodi or his father were in town, as they were likely to call at any time for his assistance.
Henri Paul was also known to have secret service connections, but this is usually the case with big hotels and their security staff.
Regarding the autopsy, the suggestion is that, in "the best of all possible worlds" (to quote Voltaire), Henri Paul's blood samples got mixed up in the lab, and instead of Henri Paul's blood, it was the blood of a suicide, who died by gassing and ingestion of a large amount of alcohol. This would explain the seemingly inexplicable problem of the high carbon monoxide level in Paul's blood. As for the worst case scenario....I will leave that up to your own imagination!
To press the point slightly, remember JFK? They still officially blame Oswald as acting alone, yet recently the actual bullets were obtained and scientifically examined, and lo and behold, they came from more than one gun.....
In closing; what is the point of rabbiting on about all this 'spilt milk'?
I guess the main point is, if we, ordinary people, do not take an interest, inquire, challenge and speak out, then we acquiesce to the wrong doing of government and big business.
By ommission of our objection, we may as well agree with what they do.
For instance, in our silence we, in effect, agree with the entire nature of the ensuing 'new world order' nonsense, which by the way is just about money, not ideals. What do we think of its potential, that a few corporations may control, not just the global economy, but also smaller soverign governments? Being unable to joust on an equal level, they will succomb to economic rationalism...and they call it a "level playing field!!" How is that possible with the big industrialised nations being pitted "equally" against second and third world economies?
So, in closing, we need to be informed if we are to have any chance at all of redeeming ourselves as a civilisation.
As slim a chance as this may seem, I remain, still, a miniscule optimist!

I don't know what to think of all of this, and even if we did know more, would it change anything?
I do know that GREED is precipitating the downfall of the world and however much they try to get it right they get it wrong.
So much for all the do-gooders' theories, they are always coming unstuck and I know that won't win me any votes. I fall victim just like anyone else.
Life is complex made the more so by MAN's endeavours to fix things, MAN being indicative of humanity of both genders.
Negative? I just read it as I see it.
