Should I become a PROFILER?
April 3rd 2008 05:52
We've all heard of them. PROFILERS! They are the ones who study the behavioural characteristics of psychopaths, maniacs, rapists and even white collar criminals. An area as exciting as it must be repulsive at times! So, yes I am considering applying for the job, why not? It would bring great daily challenges and also supply the much missed excitement I used to enjoy in an average day, when I worked in film. Besides, it will be doing the community a great service, who could ask for more than that?
So, now to study the job description in the application...back soon with my personal report to the Orble at Large community...wish me luck!

I think that you may find an endless supply of case studies in the blog world.
So go for it.

yes indeedy...kind of frightening really.
Like that French (?) maniac, who joined a site where people chatted about cannibalism and other grotesque things, then he met someone who wanted to be eaten...AND DID!!!
But, as wise heads suggest, just DON'T meet your new found 'net-pal' for that coffee...in a non-descript cafe...in a far flung suburb..late at night...not telling anyone where you went...damn...now all my fun is gone!

Although, as Damo also points out, the psychology of the odd member does seem a little disconcerting!
Glad I do not live next door!
