You Foe You Foe,
are you a star,
blinking blinking,
way up thaarrr?

Oh so high,
in the sky,
moments flash,
then you're gone.

You Foe You Foe,
are you a star,
blinking blinking,
way up thaarrr?

Rainbow hues,
sometimes seen,
disc or round,
delta too.

You Foe You Foe,
are you a star,
blinking blinking,
way up thaarrr?

Seeing you foe,
is quite queer,
telling fills,
some with fear.

You Foe You Foe,
are you a star,
blinking blinking,
way up thaarrr?

There's no matter,
what you are,
bugger all,
we can do,
way down heeeerrrrrrreeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! !!

tee hee!

Haha Fog, V cute. I see Orble inspiration has struck again! I read your UFO account on MNG's sight quite avidly - what strange experiences!

Ooh, it makes you think...what is up there? You could be right, Fog.

I'd be more worried about what is in the skull, more than anything 'out there.' If you'd red my horrors of the mind you may realize that all we have to do is to examine the recesses of the mind for all these intangible unrealities.

but much better than Fog's rantings and ravings with issues.

Dream on, my son, dream on.

Hey Fog

Is there no limit to your talents and abilities?

Perhaps given the subject matter - the only limits are 'Outer Limits'.

If you're not aware of that old TV prog then unfortunately that attempt at a pun just fell flat on its face

Stay well buddy

Hi MNG,
yes I do remember The Outer Limits! It used to scare the bejesus out of me! I was only four or five probably when it started on TV, HEAVENS!! I remember the alien with the giant brain who could read by flicking the leaves of a book...an early speed reader!

oh..so yes, got the pun...very funny too!!

cheers matey

So katyzzz,
you have now proved sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!

However, even sarcasm can be amusing, if delivered by a clever intellect, which makes you a somewhat D Grade exponent of it, by the looks of your comments!

I'd be more worried about what is in the skull, more than anything 'out there.' If you'd red my horrors of the mind you may realize that all we have to do is to examine the recesses of the mind for all these intangible unrealities.

I am not at all surprised someone who keeps a closed and limited purview of the world we live in, would say such a thing. Such limited views are usually governed by fear or deep seated prejudice, often religious based.

The problem with your assertion that , "it's all in the mind', is when multiple people observe the same craft at the same time and place, or as has been well documented, same day at different neighbouring places, both by direct observation and film and video.

Policemen, pilots, military too, have all made public statements as to the observation of wingless craft that emit no noise, have incredible speed and agility, and no exothermic thrust.

but much better than Fog's rantings and ravings with issues.
Dream on, my son, dream on.

OOHHH YAAAWWWWNNN!!!!
Someone pinch me!
Is this another boring rant from yet another intellectually challenged skeptic?

If you are sooo determined it is all "in the mind", I suggest you do what all scientists do, and that is some research before shooting your ignorant mouth off and insulting people with you lack of acumen, insight and wit!

cheers
and if what Orwell said is true, "Ignorance is strength!", then you must have some very big muscles!!

Hi Michaelie and Tracy,

this whole area NEEDS fully funded open scientific research, but no government will touch it, so it seems.

I have read many statements by scientists, and some ex-military, complaining about the official wall of silence, and government resistance to publicly examining the subject, and yet they say some government people admit unofficially they know UFOS are real.

However, France and Brazil and Mexico have all released classified documents and film of UFOS in the last few years. So maybe the thaw is on, slowly.

Oh, for the skeptics, the UFO tag is given to anything that still cannot be explained AFTER all other possible explanations are eliminated, which leaves, according to the French officials, under 10 per cent of everything reported as being branded UFO...Unidentified Flying Object!!

Contrary to what the skeptics claim, they are not even in the race when it comes to the level of skepticism employed by proper UFO researchers, like AUFORN, who make it their business to find a logical, natural and/or man made explanantion for a particular event first, if they eliminate every plausible explanation, it is given UFO status.

cheers folks

Hi Fog

I have quite a simplistic way of looking at UFOs, if we're here, then why couldn't there be other forms of existence out there somehere? Seems plausible to me.

Bye,

Tracy

Hi Trace,
you have all the best hallmarks of an open mind, thus the perfect intellect for scientific research!

The father of modern scientific research, Francis Bacon, would be proud of you!

cheers lovely,

Hello Fog

This might sound a bit daft but I think this is one of the most complimentary things said to me:

thus the perfect intellect for scientific research!

I have always wanted to get into the area of research, but I have somehow boxed myself into believing I don't have the intellect (my self-esteem needs a bit of work!). But I am learning more and more that things can happen at different times and it doesn’t mean it can’t/doesn't happen now, it can happen at another stage and that is a freeing thought...if that makes sense?

I'm learning that growing older is being open to finding what I really want to do and then maybe being able to do it. Maybe not at that stage, but sometime and that is encouraging.

Thank-you,

Tracy

Like Trace said....we are here, so why not? I would even go beyond that, to say that it is ignorant and self-important beyond measure to imagine that in all the vastness of space, we would be alone....Still, when it comes to UFO's, there is no "proof" so there should be skepticism. That said, I saw one, with my father there too. Above a hay field in Nevada.
My feeling is that in is very likely other civilizations elsewhere have developed to the point where the time and distance we see as hurdles to interstellar travel are overcome. And with that, we have most likely been visited.

Hi Tracy,

"...it doesn’t mean it can’t/doesn't happen now, it can happen at another stage..."

Absolutely!
This is the ultimate way to view life. Having an attitude like that means you relieve yourself of unnecessary pressure and it leaves all options open.

The idea that you MUST have sorted out your entire life by the age of 18 was probably developed by a burger chain company, who wants you to remain enslaved to them!

Without predefined limitations in the way we view our vocational and emotional horizons, I believe we open ourselves up to potentials we never believed we were capable of when younger.

Today, I live day to day, I try to stay in the present.

My potential is only limited by my desire to indulge in fear, self pity and self doubt.

And what is FEAR exactly?

An old AA mentor said to me many years ago,

"FEAR!

False Evidence Appearing Real!"

Rather cute I know, but, one needs to remind oneself that it is only our inner self doubts that put a break on potential...and OUR potential is not someone else's potential, for we all cope, at differing levels, the best way we can in life, so some succeed in finance, others in inner peace, others being a good listener, and others in generosity of spirit!

cheers me lovely

Hi Jeff,
thanks for commenting!

And I agree, it flies into the face of logic that we are the only sentient beings in the universe, and that if there are others, they could not possibly defeat the vastness of space, because we are not able to!

It amuses me, that people who possess any of these points of view, often abuse anyone who challenges their preconceived view as being bonkers, while maintaining they are the arbiters of logic and common sense!

I always thought it far more logical to accept that in an 'infinite' universe, you have infinite possibilities!

cheers

fog
P.S. I put 'infinite' in quotes as we really do not know, we only have theories, some of which have had to be reviewed the deeper our radio telescopes probe into space.

Hey Fog

i recall seeing a UFO when I was about 16. A green light flshed across the sky,, hovered over where we were camping and then shot off over the horizon. The newspapers reported the next day that an ambulance had chased the light for a few hundred km before it shot off and disappeared.

The truth is out there it just freaks me out and I prefer to crawl into my little ball of blissful ignorance... even after having seen it myself.

buuuuck, buuuccckkkkk I know I`m a chicken

tanx Ash ole gurrrlish!

I know what you mean....denial can be much more comfortable!

Sometimes I too retreat from it all, and zone out my head on some banal TV show, but, who knows, maybe it is "us" up there whizzing about and we need not be so afeared?

cheers

fog
P.S. You are NOT a chicken...you are a rare and elegant Bird of Paradise, with lots of common sense and strong desires for self preservation!

Hello Fog

Thank-you for your words, I was in a bit of a slump today (few things happening that are getting to me). I thought a walk and run in the park with Fergs would help, but my dratted phone kept ringing and adding to my angst. Next time I need some space, I’m leaving the contraption at home!

There were lots of things that you said that I agreed with:

Absolutely!

.
I agree with all them and try to think similarly (on a non-slump day!)

I’ll end and agree with your last words:

one needs to remind oneself that it is only our inner self doubts that put a break on potential...and OUR potential is not someone else's potential, for we all cope, at differing levels, the best way we can in life, so some succeed in finance, others in inner peace, others being a good listener, and others in generosity of spirit!

So true...thank-you, Fog.

hi Ash,
that was my absolute pleasure..it is funny how sometimes a person's true inner spirit shines through what they write, between the lines, with phrases and ponderings, we bask in the glory of each other's soul.

And don't worry about "them' critters, all has been well, living alogside them for many centuries, so far!

Hi Trace de Face!

I am touched that you appreciated my paltry attempt at inner self awareness, and I am by NO means a guru of these tenets...wish I was...maybe I could then do the lecture circuit tour! hehe!

I have days that move in wave motion, so through each hour there maybe many fleeting moments, from troughs to crests, then a singular patch of glassy thoughtless calm, then a deep sea dive to the botttom, and there I may lurk, like heavy seaweed, just dumb anchored in a murky void, the buffeting of life making no lasting impression...then I remember to veg out with some TV, it does have good uses!

cheers

and may your next run with Fergs be thrillingly free and fun!

fog

P.S. Laughter is always a good medicine...but someitmes we need to reach out to someone who can make us laugh, and if you are really down, that can be almost impossible...I know personally...I've been there many times...
