whimsy wanes when,
egos grow quizzical,
or when some become,
quaintly quarrelsome.
teething word squalls,
twist into tornadoes,
pelting their hides,
with flint flecked invective.
thought storms sent asunder,
the blithering and withering,
whining and pining,
eloquence entwined,
by boorish bluster,
making meeker minds,
afeared with fluster!
