window pain
July 21st 2007 08:11
gaze into the glazed,
appertures at night,
refracted mind-image reflected,
by blacken glass,
glinting a visage,
in the pane.
by day a window wall,
protects all outside in,
stare too far too long,
static scenery ceases,
as memory increases.
shadows past present,
resound and bound,
dipping dusty depths,
when taken too long,
shatters the window pain.
a glassed look unseen,
until shaken to reawaken,
staring at the path,
of your own making.

There's another post of yours I'm going to chase up just give me until Monday.
Good to see you and hear you and stare into that mirror of reflected light creating strange illusions.

you are my one and only constant here, which is nice in itself! I can understand your comment, fair enough, it is a little obscure, it is about day dreaming and losing yourself in the past, sometimes best avoided, when one finds oneself at the end of the rope in the present day!
cheers

P.S. Katyzzz, a couple of times I commented on your site recently and you said "glad to see you back", well, I've been here all along, I couldn't get access to the main page for a few days previously, and wondered what was happening with no one commenting, no emails about others commenting either. No matter, luckily I do it for me, and not my superficial external ego, which, lets face it, needs a HUGE face lift anyway....tee hee!!!
